Ryan Delany

Ryan served from 1999 to 2003 as an 0351 Infantry Assaultman with 3/8 Kilo Co and as a designated marksmen with the 4th MEB Anti-Terrorism. He served in the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and in Kabul, Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.  Following the honorable completion of his service, Ryan returned home and earned his bachelor’s degree from Harvard College.

After graduation, Ryan transitioned into the coffee trading business where he has served in managerial roles on three continents for the last 9 years through a top-tier coffee trade house.  Ryan’s career in coffee has encompassed a diverse array of the business of coffee including marketing specialty coffees, coordinating between coffee farmers and certifying agencies like Rain Forest Alliance, overseeing coffee processing operations and exporting, trading commercial coffees, and conducting research and speculative trading for hedge funds and prop desks.

Before serving as the Chief Operating Officer for the Foundation, Ryan volunteered as a case manager with 03XX and worked with CFO Jim Fox to develop a financial training program for transitioning Marines.  He previously served on the board and as a volunteer of NY Marine Executive Association.
